A 2006 Gause proving that timeless craftsmanship is built to last.
Their Story
Built to Go Anywhere
As a local charter captain based out of Anna Maria Island, Josh depends on his boat every day. Whether he’s taking clients into just 10 inches of water or running nearly 90 miles offshore in the Gulf of America, versatility isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity.
That’s exactly why he believes Gause builds the ultimate hybrid boat.
“Hands down the best hybrid boat out there.”
Proven Through Experience
Josh’s 2006 Gause has seen just about everything.
Over the years, he’s fished the Louisiana oil rigs for tuna and swordfish, guided countless charter trips along Florida’s Gulf Coast, and trailers his boat to the Florida Keys every summer for even more adventures.
Perhaps the most impressive statistic of all?
More than 7,000 hours on the original hull.
It’s a testament to the durability, craftsmanship, and timeless design that continue to define every Gause Built Boat.
More Than Just Fishing
While Josh spends plenty of time chasing fish, some of his favorite days are spent introducing others to life on the water.
Whether it’s helping clients land their first catch, watching kids reel in fish with huge smiles, or spending time with family in the Keys, his Gause has become the backdrop for thousands of unforgettable memories.
Quote
“I’ve put 7,000 hours on this hull.”
