Some boats are an impulse. Others are years in the making.

For this Sarasota family, owning a Gause was something they had envisioned for years. They had long been drawn to the distinctive design, craftsmanship, and versatility of Gause Built Boats, knowing that when the time was right, they wanted one of their own.

That time finally came after securing their place in Boca Grande. In December 2025, they purchased their 2013 26′ Gause and began a new chapter on the waters they love most.

The family keeps their Gause in Boca Grande, spending their time exploring Gasparilla Sound and the barrier islands surrounding the area.

It’s exactly the kind of environment their 26′ was made for.

One day might mean inshore or nearshore fishing. The next could be cruising with family and friends, bringing the dogs along, or finding a sandbar to spend the afternoon.

For them, the ability to experience all sides of life on the water is a big part of what makes their Gause so special.
